“Bottom line is that the American people need to understand that Panama – as in the government of Panama – IS the smuggler. They are officially moving people by bus to the American border. The Costa Rican government is doing the same. They are officially complicit in moving those 60 to 80 thousand people right on through, and so is the government of Colombia. The fix to that is to have Colombia, Panama and Costa Rica called on the carpet for this, to end what they call ‘controlled flow.’ Read the piece in The Federalist; it describes everything that happens. Move beyond having Mexico do this. Include those three countries. They are allied countries. They’ll do what we want if we want them to do it.”
