Bensman: Of course, transparency is always a good thing. But regarding the arrests of non-convicted criminal aliens, my recollection is, yeah, they would say the worst of the worst, but often they would say the worst first, meaning there’ll be a second, third, and fourth order of categories as soon as they got up to speed reconstructing a completely destroyed deportation infrastructure that they inherited. That is now almost rebuilt.
And I’ll just point out that President Barack Obama, when he was still in office, was asked at one point, “Why won’t you stop deporting non-criminal aliens?” And he said, “It’s the law, and I am not a king.” And so I would just reiterate that the law, which, by the way was signed by President Bill Clinton, with bipartisan support, says that you must arrest illegal aliens. The criteria is not just that they committed some kind of a murder or a rape or something. That’s not the criteria. The criteria is if you are here illegally, you are subject to arrest by ICE and deportation. There’s 1.4 million judicial orders of removal of people that went all the way through due process and are just out there not getting picked up. Since when are we going to, in this country, decide that only criminals that murdered, raped, and did violent things ever get deported from America? If that’s the policy, go to Congress and have them throw out Bill Clinton’s law. I mean, let’s go back-
