Todd Bensman from the Center for Immigration Studies proposes a bipartisan national congressional or presidential investigative commission to study and report on what, how, and why the Biden Border Crisis occurred between January 2021 and the present. He also explains the importance of the “Remain in Mexico” policy as a starting point for controlling the border.
Bensman says a “truth or fact commission” is essential because it will set the record straight to prevent another open border crisis. He also says that asylum seekers must apply for asylum BEFORE they enter the U.S., not after, so they can ignore their hearing and disappear into the country.
